His son William is estimated to have been born around 1690 and his son Seth is estimated to have been born around 1700. Assuming that William was no younger than 20 when his first child was born, his date of birth would be sometime prior to 1670. Even if the information as to the sons is in error, to qualify as a witness he had to have been of legal age and thus William could not have been born later than 1699. |
