Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery at Cooper. Bearers were Bobby McCarrell, Eddie McCarrell, Randy McCarrell, Roddy McCarrell, Kevin McCarrell, Ricky Oliver, Monty Tibbetts and Glenn Parish. Mrs. McCarrell died Sunday at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.7,6' "

Daughter Bonnie Holloway McAndrews wrote in 1996: "I believe in the early part of 1902, my Dad left his Missouri home. He wandered into Delta County, Texas in search of work. Grandpa [Bird Alexander] Robertson owned several hundred acres of cotton land in Ben Frankoin, Texas. Dad hired on as a worker, met Mom (she was 14), fell in love with her and stayed on the job, trying to get Grandpa to allow him to marry her. Mom was 15 on November 6, 1903; they were wed January 21, 1904."1 
    Note  Per granddaughter-in-law Betty McAndrews: "'Grandpa Thea' ... loved to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair. Smoked cigarettes and smiled at everyone who came to visit. He was a sweet man who loved his family. Spent most of his years working as a carpenter and house painter. His mother-in-law Alice Robertson wrote the following poem to him in a little brown autograph book that Wayne [McAndrews] has: 'Sun rises in the east and sits in the west. You are the boy that I love best. Alice Robertson.1' " 
    Note  Per granddaughter-in-law Betty McAndrews: "'Grandpa Thea' always wore bib coveralls and a felt hat. He never would crease the top of his hats, but left them completely rounded at the top. A little three room house behind our landlady was our first home. In a year, our only child, Wayne, was born. Six weeks before, Micky had a little girl, Teddy.
