Fred Gottlieb on the photo: "In case you are wondering, I am the handsome little boy on the left altho I don't know why I am smiling. I had recently suffered a nasty fall on my scooter (foot propelled, not motorized) breaking my nose in the process and it was still quite sore and swollen at that moment. My appearance still hasn't changed very much over the years???

Next to me is my cute little sister Bobette (now deceased) who is holding our dog whose name I can't recall but I do remember that my parents liked him better than they did me. In their opinion, Dawg was not only better mannered and more obedient, he was also a darn sight more intelligent.

Next is my beloved sister Ravia (also now deceased). You will note that my sisters are dressed in the height of fashion! Just dig those outfits they are wearing, particularly sister Ravia's! Also, please note that altho my jacket sleeves are a little short and my shoes somewhat scruffy, I am still a picture of sartorial elegance with my belted jacket, necktie and skull cap which I believe they called a "beanie" in those days. Mine was probably yellow and purple. I had great taste even at that age,

This picture must have been taken on a Sunday either before or after attending Sunday school. I know that I wouldn't have been caught dead wearing this outfit during the week."
